Colossal Cave Cache Logs for Year 2001

I brought the whole family and my in-laws to this one and everyone loved the hike. My first time to Colossal Cave and it was great. The cache is in good condition. We took two squirt guns (for Seth and Aaron) and my wife, on her first cache, wanted to take the Team Spring travel bug back to Oklahoma. We left two Bud Beer School key chains and a bike wrench. This was my wife and my mother-in-law's first time out and they had a good time. My father-in-law kept snapping tree branches in my M-I-L's face on the trainl, but other than that a very good day. Jeremy, Kim, Aaron, Seth Carol, and Junior.

Thanks to Winnfort for a nice easy hike in great area with lots to see. The coordinates for the cache right on the money. Cache in good shape. Took nothing left nothing.

This was an especially nice cache. The hike was just right to warm us up for visiting the cave. We reached the cache at 1:10 pm. We took the Wyle E pocket pal and left the Pete Pickup traveler. We visited the cave when we were finished and enjoyed that as well. Thanks for the fun Team Cache-Quest

4:15pm - I think we were only minutes behind John. Might have even saw him drive away. I may have missed it elsewhere, but we were not aware the park closes at 5:00pm. Glad we got there early enough. A real nice area. We'd like to come back again, earlier in the day, and see more of the park and the cave. Thanks again Myles for a good, relaxing cache. This cache hunt would be good in the summer, as most of the trail is under shade. Team Wyle E - Larry & Connie.

I decided to try this one today, sinse the weather was great! It is located in a fee area.($3.00)Park by the old Caboose and the trail head is near. The cache was near the trail. I took the Chicago pin and left a small NASCAR car & a mini Coleman lantern. This is a beautiful area. I hiked farther down the trail before taking a jeep trail back to the car. John

Had a hard time figuring out where to park. Ended up hiking .4 miles cross country through the cactus and the fences, but finally found the cache. Coordinates were right on. Left scenic playing cards and bubbles, took small plastic airplane. Hiked the trail and found ourselves in a nice little park. -Team Family Affair Scott and Mary Rapid City, South Dakota

At the cache with cactus stickers still poking me

No problems finding. The State had to make their $3.00 on this one but I found that you can go in by the back way to the barracade and walk from there. Wife along for the second find.. Took a pen and left a pin. Look out for horses on this one.. Tom and Barb (TucsonTrexters)

My wife, my dog and myself would like to thank you for a nice time. We went out early yesterday morning, got some donuts and coffee, and went in search of your cache. I am good at finding the area and my wife is better at locating the actual cache. I think they call that team work ;) Pete and Beth Pfeifer

We hoped to be the first to find this one, but there were two other log enteries before us. One from earlier today, and another that was not dated. I have been to the cave a number of times, but didn't even know the ranch was there. Thanks for placing this cache, we had a real good time. The ranch is hosting a Halloween Howl this weekend and there are A LOT of people at the ranch this weekend. The cache owner, or the next person to find it after the even might want to make sure that it is in good shape and not plundered by accident. We took a pen, not the one with the log book, and left some baseball cards. Team My Blue Heaven -- Scott & Ann

Neat Spot! Would have never known that cool trail was there! We were the 1st to find the cache (although it took a couple of days to log the visit)! We took a whistle and left a lottery ticket...good luck! Thanks for another great cache Myles!
